Once upon a time…
30 years ago, three gentlemen from Georgia crafted the idea to financially assist eligible Christian Science Sunday School students in their state in order to attend a Christian Science camp. They named it “The Campership Fund for Christian Scientists”.
Little did they know what it would become, and how many it would bless.

the Fund extended to include Alabama, North and South Carolina, and Florida. The name was then changed to “The Campership Fund for Christian Scientists in the Southeast”.

more states were included, and then more, and then more. The words “in the Southeast” were eliminated!

an organizational structure was put into place, representatives for each state were identified to promote TCF and process applications, and a social media marketing program was implemented.
Throughout it all, campers and their families were experiencing the opportunity of a lifetime. In 2020, TCF extended its assistance to adult and family camp programs. In 2023 we went international and started helping campers from around the globe.
It all started with 20 kids from Georgia. It is now blessing thousands of Christian Science children and adults around the world, all because three guys had a vision.
